PhishGuard
A phishing URL and email analyzer with rule-based phishing detection, a saved analysis history, and a SOC-inspired dashboard.
PERSONAL ARCHIVE SYSTEM
WELCOME TO MY LITTLE CORNER OF THE WEB
I'm Kenshi — a cybersecurity student, builder, and collector of little obsessions. This is my personal archive: projects in progress, things I'm learning, and pieces of life outside the terminal.
01 / SELECTED WORK
Small steps, real experiments.
Always learning by building.
A phishing URL and email analyzer with rule-based phishing detection, a saved analysis history, and a SOC-inspired dashboard.
A planned Japanese-inspired terminal simulator for learning cybersecurity. It is not publicly available yet, and the preview above is a concept, not a running app.
Small tools, lab notes, and ideas that deserve a place to grow. This space will evolve as I do.
READ THE UPDATE LOG02 / UPDATE LOG
Development notes, experiments, and things I've learned.
Documenting the process, one update at a time.
Continued refining the About Me section and the visual identity of my personal website. I'm replacing the original profile emblem with a personal profile picture and planning to use a Persona 3 GIF for the hero artwork.
The goal is to make the site feel more personal while preserving its dark interface, cyan accents, and retro game-inspired atmosphere.
Reached a major development milestone for YoruTerminal, a terminal-based cybersecurity learning simulator built with Python. Inspired by tactical interfaces and Japanese aesthetics, the project turns cybersecurity concepts into interactive, mission-based challenges.
The current build includes local account authentication, SQLite-based progress tracking, XP and ranks, and four standalone missions: Phishing Detective, Log Investigator, Security Puzzle Room, and Incident Response Simulator.
I also implemented a Rich-powered terminal interface, a mission history system, and a dedicated Windows launcher. The project reached 101 passing tests, marking an important step toward a stable first release.
MILESTONE: 101 TESTS PASSED // VERSION 1.0.0 PREPARATION
This project is helping me practice Python, authentication, database design, testing, and the process of turning an idea into a structured software application.
Started integrating a Spotify track into the Now Playing panel. Instead of building a separate audio playback system, I'm using Spotify's embedded player so playback can be handled by Spotify.
I'm also refining the player presentation to match the website's archive-style interface. Embed compatibility and browser behavior are still being checked.
Continued working on the site's interactive details, including its boot sequence, live clock, interface sound controls, expandable update entries, and hidden interactions.
I'm learning how small JavaScript behaviors and thoughtful CSS styling can make a static website feel more like a personal digital environment.
Continued developing PhishGuard, my phishing URL and email analysis web application built with Python, Flask, and SQLite. The project includes analysis tools, risk assessment, and an analysis history.
I also worked on responsive navigation and continued exploring deployment, application security, and the process of maintaining a publicly accessible web project.

CYBERSECURITY STUDENT
CURRENT STATUS
LEARNING / BUILDING
A WORK IN PROGRESS — JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE
I'm a second-year BS Cybersecurity student who enjoys understanding how technology works, where it breaks, and how to make it safer. I learn best by making things, testing ideas, and documenting what I discover along the way.
Outside tech, I'm into Gunpla and model kits, gaming, PC building, cars and diecast collecting. I like projects that feel useful, personal, and a little bit experimental.
04 / OFFLINE MODE
Not everything needs to be
productive to matter.
Builds, kitbashes, and the satisfaction of finishing one tiny detail at a time.
Games that leave an atmosphere, a soundtrack, or a story in your head long after.
Hardware tinkering, software experiments, and making the most of what I have.
JDM legends, miniature details, and collecting pieces of automotive culture.
I enjoy tabletop games for the strategy, creativity, and social interaction they bring. I like how every session can turn into a different experience, whether it involves planning ahead, solving problems, or working together with other players.
05 / END OF TRANSMISSION
I'm always glad to connect with people who enjoy tech, making things, and learning together. For now, GitHub and LinkedIn are the best ways to reach me.
